Another week has passed here, time goes very quick in this rollercoaster ;-) Some things that have happened since my last personal view of my journey here :

  • Got a visit from my parents and my sister which was really cool. The pictures were uploaded on picasa
  • Had some awesome roofparty on, well duh, my roof!
  • Did some exams (some of them I passed!
  • Bought a new camera! Sony DSC-950S
  • Went to the hairdresser (Peluqeria in Spanish!)
  • Alot of other smaller activities, Barcelona is full of life!

MINT international cooking

And this week I was invited by Anuar for the MINT International Cook Get Together (MINTICGT). MINT was my previous master but they didn’t forget me so the idea was to cook all kind of national dishes. Since I’m not the best cook, I guess my cooking expertise is lower then the sealevel.., I decided to go to the one and only Belgian store. Wow, I was in heaven! They had everything I missed from Belgium.. Almost no reason anymore to go back ;-) There was :

  • Alot, alot of beer!
  • Real Belgian chocolate and pralines
  • Speculaaspasta!
  • Paprika chips!
  • …
