Finally I’m installed in my cozy house. I made some pictures so you can see how it looks like! For the curious people, there are no pictures of my roommates yet because they’re currently not home..! :-) This week I’m also going to the Ikea to get some kind of desk to put on my wall because now I’m using my bed as a desk and that won’t work for a long time I guess!
So some of you want to know if I study? The answer is yes.. And it seems that it’ll be a continuous action… The first lessons have been given and the Master Mint is like a Master should be I guess. It’s kind of conceptual and in some way I see some benefits of thinking in this way. Still.. I’m a bit behind in courses like Propagation and Radiowaves so I think I will have to work hard to catch up on this. So I’ll be the most annoying person in class because I will always ask questions! hehe.
Other courses like Communication Theory are not the most easiest to understand but to let you know what it is about I suggest you read the ‘dirty paper’ problem and if you understand this, then you understand what this course is about!
The other courses are more my piece of cake, atleast so far! Information technology and society is a bit like social studies about how information affects our society. What impact does it have when this line between being able to access information and not being able becomes bigger and bigger? If you know this, please put it here! That’s a lesson less I need to study then ;-) Also advanced programming is fun with lectures about distributed applications and grid computing. Did you know that google actives +- 7000 servers for every search you do? This will be shown in practice with java programming as well. If you want more info about this Master Mint program, please look at their Mint Website or mail me!
And last but not least.. The nightlife hasn’t changed here. I’ve met alot of wonderful people already and there’s so much more to come!
See you in a next update!
